Dear, I hope you are doing well, the weather is getting very cold, i hope by the time you receive the parcel the weather will already be warmer. I just want to say that maybe there's a slight hope, it is fragile but it is still hope. I know we can't fix everything, but maybe something can be fixed? Seeing the stars above us, the sky is so dark but bright and shiny, maybe we can use the knots to tie the stars together, holding us together, giving us hope. But i dont know, you know im wondering, like i want to ask you one thing, should we hold it tightly? Or should we let it go?

Keskpuur is pleased to present As cold as this, a solo exhibition by Lina Herrmans, asking how we attach meanings and how meanings slip, Herrmans transforms the space where hope holds us in place, even if it's small and fragile.

Lina Herrmans is a Helsinki-based artist who works with installation, sculpture, and painting, recently focusing on metal work. In her practice, Herrmans explores in-between states—where visibility and invisibility, being this or that, and the difficult-to-categorize overlap and intertwine. Her works function as a kind of invitation to linger a little longer with what is hard to define, the unsaid, and the ambiguous.
